For the audition, you must be prepared with a 1-2 minute monologue. It needs to be memorized and it should not be from this show. There may also be a cold read during the audition.

Rehearsal Schedule: February 24-March 19, 2026

Usually Monday-Friday 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Not every actor may be needed each night. See Calendar Below!

Show Dates: March 20-22 and 27-29, 2026

This production is a Box Show, designed for actors ages 12-18. This show is done in more of a workshop style then our other shows. This is a great opportunity for new actors as well as actors looking to do material that is a bit more challenging. There is a $50 production fee due on the first night of rehearsals.

Please fill out the audition form in advance and bring it with you to the theater. We will have some hard copies available if needed. We will also ask that only the actors auditioning enter the theater. Parents are asked to remain in their car or in the lobby.

If you are cast, you will be invited to the parent meeting on Thursday, February 16 at 6pm.

Synopsis

She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.
